COVID FAQ

The Sea Of Glass — Center For The Arts is open for rentals and is pleased to have touring events scheduled beginning September 18, 2021.  Tickets are on sale now.  Additional shows will be added as they are confirmed throughout the year, so please stay informed by signing up on our email list.

We put the safety of our community, staff, volunteers, and patrons first. The Sea Of Glass — Center For The Arts adheres to the guidance and recommendations of federal, state, and local health officials. Procedures and protocols are reviewed and updated frequently as conditions evolve and new information and updated recommendations are made available by public health officials.

The most recent CDC guidance issued July 27, 2021 recommends that all persons, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in public settings in areas of the country with substantial or high community transmission. This includes Pima County.

In accordance with these recommendations, the Sea Of Glass — Center For The Arts:

  • Requires all patrons to show proof of either full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours prior to attendance.
  • Recommends all patrons, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask while attending events and on the premises of the Sea Of Glass, which includes the Sacred Treasures boutique, the Communications Courtyard Beer & Wine Garden, the CosmoArt Studio, and KVAN Visionary Radio Station.
  • Requires staff and volunteers to wear masks while interacting with members of the public.
  • Offers print-at-home and phone scanned ticketing.
  • Offers disposable masks available for patrons who forget theirs. (Patrons asked to please bring their own.)
  • Provides hand sanitizer at doors and throughout the venue.
  • Frequently disinfects touched surfaces throughout events.
